A Durham native who enjoys photography, video production, storytelling, traveling, sports, music, and food.

When I was twelve years old, I made music videos for fun. My friends would dress up and act in character while I shot, directed, and edited. Looking back, I realize the momentous enjoyment I got from making these videos. My various production experiences have transformed my hobby of making music videos into a passion for storytelling and video production.

I began my career as a digital video intern at NBC Sports Philadelphia. I used AVID to edit press conferences and game highlights for the Eagles, Phillies, 76ers, and Flyers. In addition, I overlaid these videos with customized graphics and animations using Adobe After Effects. My highlights were posted on the NBC Sports Philadelphia website and social media platforms.

Several months later, I moved across the country to Los Angeles where I worked in NBC Entertainment’s digital and marketing department. During my internship, I refined my Adobe Premiere Pro skills by cutting highlights for NBC’s entertainment television programs such as America’s Got Talent and Ellen’s Game of Games. This role taught me the importance of resizing and reformatting videos for specific platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat.

My last internship at NBCUniversal was with The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in New York. At the late-night show, I was a research and general production intern where I assisted the research department by summarizing conversations talent had on previous talk shows to enhance and diversify Jimmy’s question set. I also ran production errands to support talent, staff, and the wardrobe department. At the age of 21, I lived in both Los Angeles and New York – the two media capitals of the United States.

In December 2020, I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During my time as a Tar Heel, I double majored in broadcast journalism and media production and received a minor in global cinema and a certificate in sports communication.

After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill, I joined NBC Sports as a creative services coordinator. I worked in the marketing department to oversee the production of on-air promotions for NBC's diverse sports portfolio including Sunday Night Football, Notre Dame Football, the NHL, Premiere League, the Olympics, golf, IndyCar, and NASCAR. This role gave me experience being a liaison, bridging the gap between directors, editors, producers, the graphics department, and the scheduling team to ensure that our on-air promotions met NBC's standards, contained accurate information, and hit the air on time.

I took a two-month hiatus from July to August 2021 to work as a researcher for the Tokyo Summer Olympics. In the research room, I was the point of contact for company-wide questions about soccer, volleyball, and shooting. In addition, I provided on-air talent and statisticians with game previews and recaps to enhance the play-by-play and color analysis during broadcasts. I returned to my role as a creative services coordinator upon completing my Tokyo Summer Olympics assignment in August 2021.

In October 2021, I transferred to the Olympic Sales Production department at NBC Sports to pursue my passion for storytelling and production. In this role, I prepped athlete-driven features and sat on the backbench during edits to pull supplementary content so my editors and producers could cut their pieces promptly. I also assisted with pitching and generating marketing concepts that connected our athlete-centric pieces with the Olympic sponsor’s missions. My team merged with its sister department, the features and documentaries team, for the Beijing Winter Paralympics where I continued my responsibilities prepping and supporting edits.

Following the Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics, I transitioned to the news division of NBCUniversal where I started my role as a coordinator in the on-air talent department. As one of the two coordinators, I assisted the Vice President with daily tasks involving scheduling meetings, booking travel, enhancing talents’ wardrobes, and fulfilling expense reports. I also researched on-air talent we could recruit to the network and planned the anchor schedules for MSNBC, TODAY Show, Nightly News with Lester Holt, Weekend TODAY, and Weekend Nightly. I enjoyed overseeing our vast news portfolio from the bird’s eye view of our talent development and recruitment office.

After being with the on-air talent department for a little over a year, I was promoted to an associate producer title. In this new role, I managed the talent and production schedule for MSNBC by working directly with senior vice presidents, executive producers, and production crew to appropriately backfill for anchors who needed time off of their shows, and adjust programming in response to breaking news such as indictments, mass shootings, natural disasters, and war coverage. I also oversaw and managed a roster of on-air talent ranging from anchors to on-air contributors. This responsibility enabled me to form meaningful relationships with talent across the news division. I continued to plan the anchor schedules for the TODAY Show, Nightly News with Lester Holt, Weekend TODAY, and Weekend Nightly.

In December 2023, I started my role as an associate producer at CBS Sports.
